Politics in the Park is back for spring!
Politics in the Park is kicking off a new season and trying something new.
Each week, they’ll share a one-word prompt to spark conversation in our community. Think of it as a starting point: bring your own questions, your own take, your own topics. The prompt is just the seed, you grow the discussion.

April’s prompts:
Week 1: Local
Week 2: Education
Week 3: (off week)
Week 4: Justice
This season Politics in the Park is going deeper, not wider. Instead of being out every day, they’ll be at the parks twice a week, giving us more time to develop new programs while still keeping the conversation going. You might also catch us at pop-up events and other community gatherings around Oshkosh.
Week 1: Local
April 7th is Election Day and it felt right to come back with Local as our first prompt. Get out and vote, then stop by Opera House Square to keep the conversation going.
And we’re not just talking about local government. Let’s talk about local media. Local problems. Local solutions. Whatever local means to you, bring it.
Week 1 events:
Wednesday, April 7: Opera House Square, 4-6 PM
Saturday, April 11: Opera House Square, 10 AM-12 PM
Join the conversation. You’re invited..
