Common Roots Rising co-created the Waupaca River Cleanup at Brainard’s Bridge Park in Waupaca with the Fox Wolf Watershed Alliance. On May 1st we gathered and worked together to pick up trash at Brainard’s Bridge and the other parks along the river in the city of Waupaca. Thanks to Kayla Van Dyke for volunteering to be the site leader and coordinating all the volunteers.
We all had fun on a beautiful day enjoying nature and cleaning up. Listen along as Mark talks with our volunteers about what they found and why they chose to come out and help with this community cleanup.
