Menasha Clean Up Collects 50 lbs of Trash

Wednesday, June 17th a group organized by Mark from Common Roots Rising and Mayra from the Multicultural Coalition came together to clean up the community spaces around the Multicultural Coalition’s offices on 1st st and all around Downtown Menasha and the canal riverfront to Canal Commons.

We found trash in the bushes and landscaping at Curtis Reed Square.

Thanks to Fox Wolf Watershed Alliance for the clean up supplies. In addition to community members we had representatives from Partnership Community Health, Valley Transit and the Multicultural Coalition join our team.

We had a great morning and collected 50 lbs of trash with our group of dedicated civic hearted community members.

We are planning to do another similar clean up this fall. Watch for details.
