Join Farmers Union for this urban farm field day in Neenah to explore seeds, soil and sustainability on the micro scale! Learn more about tools and techniques to optimize your growing spaces.
Take a tour with new member Phil Popour on his ⅛ acre market garden in Neenah and learn how he is working to grow “off-grid,” build soil health, manage city regulations, and keep records of his growing business.
Hear from UW-Madison student Collin VanDeLoo about cover crop research (large scale and small scale). Learn how Phil collaborated with local flower farmer Alyssa of Little Sweet Flower Farm to add pollinator habitat.
