Help make a difference in our community and along the waterways! The City of Neenah Parks and Rec in partnership with the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance and Doty Island Community Partners, invites you to a Volunteer Planting Event at Doty Park.
This hands-on event will focus on planting native vegetation along the shoreline to improve water quality, reduce erosion, and create habitat for wildlife. Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just looking to give back, your efforts are greatly appreciated and will help protect the Fox-Wolf Watershed, and enhance the beauty of Doty Park.
What to Bring:
- comfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes
- gardening gloves
- hand trowel/small spade shovel
- a positive attitude and willingness to dig in!
Why it Matters:
Native plants play a vital role in filtering runoff, stabilizing soil, and supporting pollinators. By volunteering, you’re contributing to a healthier ecosystem for generations to come.
