New Zion, NEW HMong, Multicultural Coalition Community Garden

There is a new community garden space going in on Oneida St. in Appleton at Zion Lutheran Church. The garden will be tended by NEW HMong and they will be growing food for the Multicultural Coalition and local food programs.

Over 30 volunteers joined the garden starting party on Saturday, May 23. We are looking forward to watching this garden project grow.

This is the beauty of what community can do when we come together with a shared purpose… beautiful things can grow.

We are deeply grateful to everyone who helped make today possible.

Thank you to our partners Zion Lutheran Church- ELCA, Multicultural Coalition, Inc., Partnership Community Health Center, our incredible teams, volunteers, and supporters who showed up, rolled up their sleeves to lend a helping hands, brought tools, encouragement, and heart as we worked together to create this Community Garden.

What started as an idea is now becoming a space that will grow fresh produce, bring people together, and give back to families in our community
