Storytellers Wanted for Waupaca Story Project

Waupaca Story Project (WSP) is seeking storytellers!

Join Waupaca Story Project for a LIVE storytelling event: Monday, February 23, 2026 at 7pm and share your personal story that fits the theme of “Begin, Again”.

Creative interpretation of the theme is always welcomed and encouraged!

Do you want to be one of the featured storytellers? You don’t have to be an experienced storyteller to join. Give it a try!

A few things have changed since WSP last hit the stage. Please read the story submission guidelines below:

What to Submit

Please include the following in an email to: waupacastoryproject@gmail.com by Monday, February 16, 2026.

  • A story summary (at least 4–5 sentences) This should clearly outline the narrative arc—how the story begins, what happens, and how it ends.
  • An emotional description of the story (if you have one) Examples: “A tender, bittersweet story about a missed connection,” or “A heavy, gut-punch story about losing my home.”
  • A short bio about yourself. (no more than 3 lines) You may eventually be asked for more, but this is a good place to start.

Waupaca Story Project is designed to help us share in the collective human experience through live storytelling.
