SUMMARY:Wisconsin Food Access Map User Testing
DESCRIPTION:You are invited to participate in a hands-on user testing session for the newly developed Wisconsin Food Access Map\, focusing on Northeast Wisconsin in its pilot phase.  \n\n\n\nAs a key collaborator working in public health\, education\, community gardens\, food distribution\, local government\, or nonprofit – your perspective is vital. We want to ensure this tool is intuitive\, useful\, and effective for the residents and organizations we serve. Please forward this to anyone else in your group who might be interested. \n\n\n\nDate: Tuesday\, June 2 Time: 12:00 PM – 1:00 PM – feel free to bring your lunch along 🙂 Drinks and light snacks will be provided. \n\n\n\nLocation: Extension Outagamie County\, Meeting Room 2\,  3365 W Brewster St\, Appleton\, WI 54914  \n\n\n\nPlease bring: your smartphone\, computer\, or tablet device. We want to make sure the map mobile application works across platforms\, so even if you just bring your smartphone\, that’s enough!  \n\n\n\nWhat is the Wisconsin Food Access Map? \n\n\n\nThis is a statewide\, interactive tool designed to connect people with local\, nutritious\, affordable\, and accessible food options. It consolidates data that is often scattered across different platforms\, including: \n\n\n\n\nFarmers markets\, farm stands\, and CSAs\n\n\n\nCommunity garden locations\n\n\n\nGrocery stores and specialty cultural markets\n\n\n\nEBT-accepting locations\n\n\n\nFood banks and distribution sites\n\n\n\nFood assistance programs\n\n\n\n\nWhy Your Feedback Matters: \n\n\n\nThe map is currently in its pilot phase. Our goal is to paint a comprehensive picture of food accessibility in Wisconsin\, but we know that no single dataset can do that alone. During this one-hour session\, we want to learn: \n\n\n\n\nHow intuitive the navigation is for different users.\n\n\n\nIf the information you need most is easy to find.\n\n\n\nWhich features are most helpful and where we can simplify.\n\n\n\n\nYour insights will directly inform improvements to the map before its broad public launch. \n\n\n\nPlease RSVP by May 28 by responding to this Google Sign-Up Form.
