The City of Neenah Parks and Rec in partnership with the Fox-Wolf Watershed Alliance and Doty Island Community Partners\, invites you to a Volunteer Planting Event at Doty Park. \n\n\n\nThis hands-on event will focus on planting native vegetation along the shoreline to improve water quality\, reduce erosion\, and create habitat for wildlife.  Whether you’re a seasoned gardener or just looking to give back\, your efforts are greatly appreciated and will help protect the Fox-Wolf Watershed\, and enhance the beauty of Doty Park. \n\n\n\nWhat to Bring: \n\n\n\n\ncomfortable outdoor clothing and sturdy shoes\n\n\n\ngardening gloves\n\n\n\nhand trowel/small spade shovel\n\n\n\na positive attitude and willingness to dig in!\n\n\n\n\nWhy it Matters: \n\n\n\nNative plants play a vital role in filtering runoff\, stabilizing soil\, and supporting pollinators. We are part of a growing community network to meet the needs of the people through action\, social connectedness and trust … where and how each person experiences belonging.  \n\n\n\nThrough our in-person support and navigation\, we strive to create a sense of safety\, connection and belonging. Now more than ever\, many individuals face loneliness\, isolation and complex challenges. We recognize these struggles and are here to support each person on their journey.
